Krystyna, due to her expat upbringing has lived and travelled extensively in SE Asia. Her love for the region, the beach, the ocean and island living comes alive in her exquisite sense of taste, colours and interior decoration. She’s now settled on Samui with her gorgeous family. She is the queen of hip and her vision reflects where shabby meets stylish chic. She has designed two, very different, but amazing villas. She creatively decorated them with regional artefacts and furnishings and an island inspired palette of colour …and of course a lot of love.
The beautifully landscaped, 40 metre beachfront private garden provides a fabulous place for sunbathing and chilling. The beachside sala (pavilion) is a great outside living space for snoozing, reading and capturing the sea breezes.
I love early February when Samui beautiful blue skies are at their best. The deeper sea levels are perfect for cooling beach swims. The humidity is less and the temperature is in the early 30s.
Swinging in a beachside hammock at sunset watching the sun disappear into sea in front of me. I love the beach at this time of the evening as I watch the silhouetted figures of children playing in the shallows, loving couples stroll hand in hand and there’s a stillness and quiet that makes you realise life is good.
I love the relaxed feel of the Thai restaurant with its swings and rustic ambience. Great seafood with a sunset view. The Four Seasons Hotel Thai restaurant, for a treat, is fabulous.
